Our Team

Tom brings a number of things to Merthyr Law: passionate support for the Brisbane Broncos, a healthy appreciation for fresh coffee, and a critical eye for proper punctuation and grammar.

Thankfully though, he also brings a wealth of experience in litigation and succession law stemming from nearly 15 years of private legal practise. He has proven experience in analysis of legal issues, distilling them down to their critical elements and then advising on the best course of action. Together with clients, he will work to fulfil his clients’ fundamental objectives, whether that be through litigation, negotiation or preventative action.

Tom works to understand his clients’ matters and needs in terms that a young child could understand – partially for his own benefit, but also because if he can successfully explain legal issues to his daughter, then he must understand them well enough to be articulate and convincing before a judge.

Outside of the office, you’re likely to find Tom spending time with family, playing board games, enjoying music or media, or otherwise yelling at the TV during the NRL season.
